Just One Degree Makes the Difference
At the 2008 summer Olympics, Michael Phelps won his seventh gold medal by a fingernail when he touched the wall .01 second before Milorad Cavic. One-hundredth of a second made the difference between a gold and silver medal.

"At 211 degrees, water is hot. At 212 degrees, it boils. And with boiling water, comes steam. And with steam, you can power a train," claims Sam Parker in his book 212: The Extra Degree. Just one degree can make a difference.

Arrive fifteen minutes earlier in the morning to read a few of those industry newsletters in your inbox. Carry a business book so you can grab a few pages when stuck in line or left waiting for a meeting. Eat at your desk one day a week and watch a webinar on social media or search engine optimization.

One degree could make all the difference. Where can you find yours?
